Community support & involvement is important to us and are proud champions of:

We recognize the value these organizations have in our community and are committed to continuing our philanthropic efforts locally. As part of streamlining the numerous requests we receive, we will be making donations six times a year and will consider donation requests submitted by the following deadlines:

We are excited to offer you a simple way to have your request considered; please email all donation requests, to drinkme@therideauwinery.ca with “Donation Request” in the subject line of your email. Please provide us with information regarding the event, if there is something specific you would like us to consider and how the funds raised will benefit those in our community. At this time, we are unable to provide cash donations other than our current commitments.

Due to the large number of requests that we receive, we are unable to respond to or support every one and will not be able to consider requests received in other ways. We are able to donate glassware packages and gift certificates. We can only donate a kit if it is used as a silent auction item and the recipients must pay the fermentation fee (taxes included) themselves.

If your organization is selected for a donation, one of our staff members will reach out to you to make arrangements.

In addition to financial donations to support the community, we give countless gift certificates to community-support causes because together, we are stronger.

We’re both believers in giving back however we can. When we give back to our communities – however it happens – it strengthens us all. Most people think of “giving back” as a seasonal thing such as at Christmas. We want to ensure it becomes a year-round way of living.

We have two #gratitude programs we launched in January 2019. The first one is our #TweedTuesdays. Every Tuesday, when an (active) employee comes in and puts on a kit (except the Heritage Estates line), Canopy Growth Corporation/Tweed, shows their valid employee ID card, we give them $10 off their order. This discount cannot be combined with any other discount.

We understand having a tight budget very well. Out of this came the second gratitude program, #ThriftyThursdays. Every Thursday, all our customers will receive $10 off their in-house made kits (with the exception of the Heritage Estates line). This discount cannot be combined with any other discount.
