We are excited to offer you a simple way to have your request considered; please email all donation requests, to firstname.lastname@example.org with “Donation Request” in the subject line of your email. Please provide us with information regarding the event, if there is something specific you would like us to consider and how the funds raised will benefit those in our community. At this time, we are unable to provide cash donations other than our current commitments.
Due to the large number of requests that we receive, we are unable to respond to or support every one and will not be able to consider requests received in other ways. We are able to donate glassware packages and gift certificates. We can only donate a kit if it is used as a silent auction item and the recipients must pay the fermentation fee (taxes included) themselves.
If your organization is selected for a donation, one of our staff members will reach out to you to make arrangements.
In addition to financial donations to support the community, we give countless gift certificates to community-support causes because together, we are stronger.
We’re both believers in giving back however we can. When we give back to our communities – however it happens – it strengthens us all. Most people think of “giving back” as a seasonal thing such as at Christmas. We want to ensure it becomes a year-round way of living.
We have a special #gratitude program we launched in January 2019 and it’s #TweedTuesdays. Every Tuesday, when an (active) employee comes in and puts on a kit (except the Heritage Estates line), Canopy Growth Corporation/Tweed, shows their valid employee ID card, we give them $10 off their order. This discount cannot be combined with any other discount.
If you don’t believe us on the importance of giving back (and volunteering), there’s a ton of articles out there to read. Take this one from The Globe and Mail or this one from The Huffington Post Canada, there’s a huge list of articles from them about giving back.
